Simone Simpson

Simone Simpson is a Ph.D. student in Informatics at the University of California Irvine.  She has a Dual Masters in Internatonal Cognitive Visualization from Koblenz-Landau in Germany, Pierre Mendes in France, and California State Chico.

Simone is interested in cross-cultural distance collaboration.  Currently she is pursuing two projects with Google Glass:  One to follow Medical School students who are using Glass in their training, and a laboratory study investigating whether people can attend to a primary task, get feedback on it from Glass, and then change their behavior.  These both will lead to investigating whether people working with people from other cultures can receive feedback on their behavior that may be mistinterpreted by the other and then change their behavior to be more appropriate.
